Enhancing the Creative Learning Experience
We aimed to ensure the success of this project by achieving three objectives:
Viewer attention and knowledge retention
Creating relatable scenarios that audiences
Offer a diverse mix of media.
The project began with a 2-day writing room with the Mind Tools writing team to develop the scripts for each topic.
We advised on appropriate scenarios and characters, recommending illustrated backgrounds to facilitate multiple locations through illustrated and animated elements.
To guide the emotional intelligence of the scenarios, we actively contributed to the writing room, steering the narrative to ensure it resonated with a broad audience.
Creating a diverse group of scenarios and character development enabled us to ensure that each section did not represent a single socio-economic group, religion, or race, which delivered evergreen content to the platform, ensuring it was not time-stamped by fashion or style.

The end result
We split the content creatively between 2D character animations and actor-led scenarios filmed on a green screen. Illustrated backgrounds enriched the scenarios, adding depth and flexibility. This approach ensured that the scenarios and characters remained timeless and easy to amend, providing the client with long-term flexibility.
Our thorough casting process prioritised diversity, enabling us to select a wide range of actors without needing multiple locations. This strategy optimised the budget while enhancing representation.
To maximise knowledge retention, we organised weekly focus groups for a month. These groups engaged with the content while we used eye tracking and brain wave heat mapping to monitor concentration and engagement. The results demonstrated high knowledge retention, validating the success of the project.
We delivered a full-service learning course, transforming a shelved project into a best-in-class, engaging suite of video and animation-led courses.
